Decaf Black Teas
We use the CO2 method to decaffeinate our teas, wherein caffeine is removed from the tea leaf. Carbon dioxide is a natural part of the air and physically harmless. High pressure is used to decaffeinate the leaves.
For decaffeinating at home, you can always take your tea, boil it for 1 minute, strain the tea out of the first cup, throw out the first cup, and use the leaves for the second cup. This is called washing and removes most of the caffeine.
